Came back from Penang last night. Arrived at 2am. *Yaaaawwwnnn* I really gotta stop pushing myself like this. Since I got back from UK, I had only 3 weekends to myself (meaning I didnt spend my weekend driving from KL to Penang and back). Anak mithali or not...this has got to stop. My work is suffering and so is my sleep. Had only 4 hours sleep last night and tonight I'd have to stay up to finish my 'kerja tertunggak'.

I'm a bit pissed with some people in my mailing list (I byk mailing list so jgn perasan and terasa plak). The thing is, I have been getting grotesque pictures of people run over by trains, eaten by snakes, mutilated and tortured by soldiers, people with their heads split open, their guts spilling on the streets and their faces so badly distorted that you cant tell that it once belonged to a human being. Scary description huh? But imagine my disgust everytime I open these kind of emails filled with pictures of these unfortunate souls. No, not disgusted by the pictures but by the people who took the trouble to compile them and also to those who kept the chain going by forwarding them through the internet. Have some compassion and respect for the dead la. Even if you wanna use the incident that happened to them as a reminder or lesson to be learnt from, a simple informative story would suffice. Kalau you rasa I'm just being old-fashioned, tak open-minded, pengecut and so on... nanti bila one day gambar yg circulating the net is of someone you know than you'll see how wrong it is to do that. Don't use other people's mishaps as a way of entertaining youself (that is if you happen to be entertained by pictures like that...).

Sorry... awal2 dah membebel. Ni Monday morning blues so bear with me. So busy with work lak tu. I miss chatting with Nanie... my best buddy. Tp I know she's busy too. Plus she has a boyfriend which means less time to socialize with single, lonely friends like me..heheheh. Not that I'm complaining. Being single has its advantages. But as yet, my mind is a blank and cant think up of any good ones. :P Go figure...

It has been forever since I last updated. Been busy as hell. So I'll just breeze through on the recent happenings in my life.

Lemme see...

1. Raya was excellent. Got duit raya from my dad (still... heheheh). Baju raya tak sempat siap semua so I made do with baju zaman tok kaduk dulu (very long ago laaa..).

2. Lectures are whizzing by. Am quite behind in lectures (a week or so) due to the Raya holidays and my one week break last week (went to UK). Now barely coping with everything at work and feel so lost at times.

3. Just came back from UK where I attended my convocation. It was cool, different from my undergraduate's convo. Stayed in UK for 5 nights so am still suffering from a mild jetlag. Wasn't able to wake up for my 8am class on Monday because reached Malaysia at 6pm the day before. Kesian my students tunggu...:(

4. Kind of annoyed coz my car has decided to make this irritating sound when I drive. Take note, only when I, me, moi drive the car. Tried to point out the sound to my dad but my car went all nice and quiet on me at that time. I think it must be the berring because the sound seems to come from under the co-drivers feet and gets worse when I accelerate. Peningnye...

5. Will watch LOTR with Pae and As tomorrow. Haven't asked As yet and haven't booked the tickets yet either. But will only watch the Fellowship of the Ring so won't expect booking the tickets to be a hassle.

6. Will have to change rooms with a senior lecturer *sigh*. I guess my room, having the view and ample space as compared to the senior lecturer's room, is just too good for a junior lecturer. Kinda sad I'd have to move to a smaller room with no windows. Wouldnt have minded if I was given a small room from the start but I was just getting to feel at home in my room...dah kena halau. Sedih :(.

My bolg site is really ugly. Nak redesign pun no time. And to think I teach Web Programming but my site is so blerrghh. Anyway, need to go and get a breather.
